We are Energy
As much as we love our five senses, they can be very deceptive! What we experience through them exists in 3D, but where 3D comes from…what it truly is, requires reflection.
When the scientific revolution hit in the 1800s, civilization fell in love with empirical data, things that can be measured and proven via the senses. The world of mysticism faded into the background with the gods and goddesses of the ancient world.
The gods and goddesses were physical representations of energy.
They were forms made of various emotions and experiences that people could relate to. They had human bodies and faces, but their energy was unmistakable. There were aggressive, powerful gods, gods/goddesses that represented themes in human experience, such as love and betrayal. They were relatable in material form, but the experiences they embodied were vibrational energy in origin.
What I’ve discovered in careers as a teacher and psychologist, and now as a Reiki & Reflexology practitioner is that the highest calling as a healer is to mobilize energy around us and within us.
Research shows that the relationship between healer and client supersedes the modality of healing. What does that mean? To me, it means that whether speaking, laying on hands, stimulating vita points, the healer is a vehicle that mobilizes energy in the client. Furthermore, the client isn’t simply a flesh sculpture! The joining of therapist/healer and client is the interface that moves energy.
There are infinite examples of the creative nature of energy. The Sun’s energy (93 million miles away, mind you) is the vibrational source of all life. Yes, we enjoy the forms, but the origin is our good old Sun!
